Good Morning, Everyone!

A very warm welcome to all the parents, students, and faculty members joining us today.

I’m Bali Shankar Khurana, working as an Assistant Professor and the Class Coordinator
for this batch of First Year MCA students.

It’s truly a great pleasure to have you all with us for this Online Parent Meeting.

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to join this meeting.

Your presence and involvement mean a lot to us. It shows how much you care about your
child’s progress and future.

Purpose of Today’s Meeting

The main purpose of this meeting is to keep you informed about how your ward is
progressing in the college and to discuss how, we can work together to support their
academic and overall development. We’ll also share some of the initiatives taken by the
department for their growth.

Let me quickly walk you through today’s agenda:

1. We’ll begin with an Address by Our Head of Department, Dr. Aswani Ladekar
Madam.

2. Then, Prof. Suchita Borkar will talk about Academics and Curriculum.

3. Next, Dr. Avinash Chormale will discuss Student Development and Welfare.

4. After that, Prof. Prakash Ukhalkar will speak about Examinations and R&D
activities.

5. Following that, Prof. Rajkamal Sangole will share details on Training and
Placement.

6. Finally, we’ll have an Open Q&A session, …… parents can share their feedback, ask
questions or give suggestions.

Let’s begin our session.

I now invite our Head of Department, Dr. Aswani Ladekar, to address the parents.
Thank you, everyone.

Before we close the meeting, I would like to take a few minutes to share some important
points as the Class Teacher.

1. Attendance: Regular attendance is very important. It not only helps students stay
updated with the syllabus but also improves their understanding and
performance. So, I request all parents to please encourage your wards to attend all
the lectures regularly and be punctual.
2. Discipline: We expect all our students to maintain discipline both inside and outside
the classroom. They should follow college rules, show respect to teachers and
classmates, and avoid any kind of misconduct anywhere.

3. Scholarship Forms: Students who are eligible for scholarships should make sure to
fill up the forms on time and submit all the required documents without delay.
This helps avoid last-minute issues in processing their applications.
4. Admission Documents: If any admission-related documents are pending, students
should complete and submit them at the earliest by next week.

5. Proctor Scheme (Mentoring System):

Our college follows a Proctor Scheme, where every student is assigned a Faculty Mentor
(Proctor)
The proctor regularly counsels’ students, monitors their academic progress, attendance,
and overall development.

At the college level, we try our best to help students reach their full potential. But parents
also play an important role in this journey. I request you to stay in touch with your child’s
proctor for any updates or concerns.

Students are also encouraged to approach their proctor whenever they face any academic
or personal issues.

Thank you once again for your time and cooperation.

Together — with the combined efforts of the college, parents, and students — we can ensure
that every student grows not just academically, but also personally and professionally.
