Staff Spotlight

The Staff Spotlight celebrates the incredible employees who make a meaningful difference across our Board each day. This initiative highlights individuals who go above and beyond, support students, strengthen school communities, and inspire others through their commitment, compassion, and leadership.

Each issue features honourees nominated by members of their school community, including staff and Catholic Student Parent Councils (CSPC). Nominations are reviewed quarterly, and selected individuals are recognized on this page.

• Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) staff may nominate other staff members.

• Families may nominate staff by working through their school’s CSPC.

• All nominators must obtain consent from the employee/individual to use their name and photo prior to submitting a nomination.

• Nominations are submitted through a Microsoft Form.

• Honourees are chosen based on their positive impact, leadership, and contributions to school communities.

• Issues are posted on a quarterly basis.

  • Winter feature submissions open in December and close in February.

  • Spring feature submissions open in March and close in April.

  • Summer feature submissions open in May and close in June.
