All my guides were amazing! Shoutout to Gabriel, Gonza, and most of all Renata. The trip was a blast and I will almost certainly be back. Advice to people booking in the future is to train and ask detailed questions so you are prepared and aware of your itinerary. Base Torres on day one is beautiful challenge that sets the tone for the rest of the trek. James at Umi was very helpful answering all my questions along the way. Also, The campgrounds are in great shape with wonderful staff.

The Torres del Paine W Trek is particularly good as wildflowers carpet the ground and baby guanacos take their first steps. Our 5-day version hits all the key spots - from the Base Torres climb to boat rides across Lake Pehoé. The Atacama tours work really well too, with pleasant temperatures that make exploring Moon Valley's rock formations and watching flamingos at the salt flats much more comfortable. We're seeing lots of travelers combine different regions in spring; you can easily mix vineyard visits in Casablanca Valley with desert exploration and also Patagonian hiking.
