He grew up in the Bronx in a family held together by smoke, noise, and doing whatever it took to get through the day. Life was already hard enough that is untuntil gunshots on a boring Christmas Eve ripped him out of everything he knew. Now he's at the end of the world. And somehow, he's not alone. Five Hargreeves is there too-a boy who jumped through time and pulled Ciro into the apocalypse with him, and never expected to meet another living person... especially not someone like Ciro. Five is quiet, sharp, always thinking three steps ahead. Ciro is loud, stubborn, and feels things way too deeply. They don't really fit. They argue more than they agree. Half the time, they don't even like each other. But the apocalypse doesn't care. Stuck together in an empty world, they have to learn how to trust each other, how to survive, and how to live with the people they're becoming. Somewhere between the fights, the forced teamwork, and the moments that hit a little too hard, they're both faced with a question they keep avoiding: Can two broken kids survive the end of everything... without breaking each other in the process? A story about unlikely connections, chosen family, learning how to heal when everything's already fallen apart, and finding light in all the wrong places at the worst possible time. Content Notes: This story includes themes of trauma, addiction, violence, strong language, and emotional intensity. Characters are reimagined for transformative fanfiction. I do not own The Umbrella Academy or its characters.

She doesn't sit by but fights to protect the island she now sees as her home and the family she's grown to care for. Will Amy be able to keep the real reason she came to Hawaii a secret or will everyone find out? Can she protect the ones she cares for?
