This story is about a girl named Kiki, Kiki Heart, who is wandering around New York to find anything she could. Food, water, clean clothes, weapons. But mostly a group since wandering alone during a apocalypse isn't the smartest idea. Once she finds a group that let her stay, she notices from the start it's not a normal one... Hii so this story probably won't be the best since I dont write often and English isn't my first langauage. But I will try my best :)

You are a gem/your species hybrid. You don't live with Steven and the Crystal Gems but you visit them quite often. Your parents are on vacation and you didn't want to go with them because you would rather spend time in Beach City with all of your friends: Steven Universe, Garnet, Amythest, Pearl, etc. But when a new gem from Homeworld comes for revenge on Steven Universe you learn that maybe someone else wants to feel found just like you do.

The world had gone to shit. Finally. Nobody knew exactly where the virus had started but they knew the undead, rotting bodies of their friends and family were no longer the people they loved. Big cities had fallen; buildings were practically sinking into the ground. Houses, after losing electricity and water, deteriorated when their occupants disappeared, either turned or out to look for supplies. People had practically gone crazy. It was every man for himself. Gas, although plentiful in abandoned cars, was suffering from a shortage so not many people drove. You were lucky if your vehicle carried you even ten miles. Food, fresh food, was scarce. Consider yourself blessed if you found anything of sustenance in this hellhole. Even shelter was hard to come by as most buildings were completely overrun by zombies.
