He told me to stay hidden while he went to check things out and I didn't move until the house collapsed. My brother never returned. It was then, I was determined to get revenge, to take down the Fire Nation for taking my family away from me. My name is Mari and I will see to it that the Fire Nation burns.

No, not the blue alien one. Wrong Avatar. This is Avatar: The Last Airbender, except everything went to hell before the story even started. At the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, right after Naruto and Team 7 got finished beating Kaguya's rabbit-goddess ass, the universe decided to be a dick. One last attack, one unstable portal, and Naruto got thrown into another world with no way back home. Unlucky bastard. Now here's the fun part: Aang? Dead. Froze in the iceberg and never made it out. And because fate was clearly smoking something strong, Naruto ends up becoming the new Avatar. So yeah. New world, dead kid, pissed-off blond menace, and canon getting dragged behind a moving cart.
