"The new recruits are here!" i say as i rush into the room. I gawk at the taller one of the two, his swooshy brown hair and doe-like brown eyes, his tight-fitting top and that smile... that smile that could kill a thousand starstruck girls... Or Mormon boys for that matter, because i felt like I could've died in that moment.

(Consistent uploads!) After the events of the original musical, the missionaries have decided to stay in Uganda and help in any way they can. This doesn't just include physical labor to help the village however, they're also expected to help spread the word of the new Book of Arnold while grappling with their own religious beliefs of the Book of Mormon. It feels like there's barely enough time to sleep for the Elders, let alone struggle with a possible blossoming romance. Will Kevin Price and Connor McKinley be able to fight off gay thoughts, hell dreams, and scorpions all at once and end up happily ever after? More importantly, does this happy ending include the two in a relationship? (Cover art by me)

Sixteen, licensed to drive, armed with his trumpet and a band, Shake Tauffler slips the harness of his home and neighborhood to test himself in the raw world of the streets and nightclubs of Salt Lake and its outlying towns. His parents intensify their attacks on his growing sense of self. Jazz and its negro heroes still define him; but his church takes off its gloves to teach him that negroes are anything but heroes. His Huck Finn days are over; this is the rebel Shake, haunted by the faceless mystery of never being good enough and a hunger he can’t name, roaming the night alone or with his hoodlum pals, finding refuge in cars, girls, violence, the cry of his trumpet, the faces of the American night. In Book 2, the Shake we knew in Journey takes on tougher obstacles, extends his reach, but continues to meet the senseless forces of his life with courage, wit, and wonder. He leaves Utah for the Army. He embraces the break from his past and the chance to define himself from scratch. But his past comes out of hiding when he falls in love and faces down the ruthless racial dogma of his faith. He returns home to a family and church who are quick to remind him who and where he is. A foreign mission when he turns nineteen lies just ahead. The road is ending. One last defiant self-affirming act takes him across the American West to close it down his way. From Mike Strong, co-founder of Zola Books: "Max Zimmer has written The Great American Mormon Novel. For decades, readers have depended upon a few extraordinary writers to understand fully what it means to be an American - Philip Roth, Julia Alvarez, Ralph Ellison, Erica Jong, John Updike. Zimmer has added a critical new dimension to our shared national understanding of who we are and how we got here in this sweeping narrative. Twelve-year-old Shake Tauffler's decade-long journey through the Mormon Church and beyond will resonate with all Americans who ponder their soul and place in our changing national portrait."

Nathaniel should appreciate the gift of being God's loving child. But that doesn't mean his older brothers should have the right to abuse him for any infraction he makes. If that's the price to pay to be a Mormon, Nathaniel doesn't want this life. Next door, Ryan is proud of being a slut. He welcomes any horny boy (and occasional girl) to his bedroom and lets them have their way. Yet to his surprise, he finds Nathaniel watching him one day. Ryan's pretty sure Nathaniel disapproves of his lifestyle, but another surprise comes to his way. After Ryan's had a session with one of his friends-with-benefits, Nathaniel comes up to him, saying, "Can you teach me how to love?" WARNING: There's questioning of religion, abuse, twisted views of subjects, etc. Read with these warnings in mind, please. All rights reserved © 2016 by im_annoyed_dammit

All clean funny. Some are jokes only Mormons would understand. Many are political or lawyer jokes. I like to use these to text people at random times. They tend to be great icebreakers for conversations too. NOT ALL MINE!!! I get these from Facebook, friends, or other joke books.

To Be A Mormon is kind of like an autobiography of my life, mainly based around becoming a Mormon ( in a way). Being a Mormon can be difficult, and there are so many trials and challenges that come along with Mormonism. I was inspired to write this after reading Sarah A. 's book, Confessions of A Mormon Bride: Essays on Love and Mormonism. Even if you are not LDS, I sincerely hope that this little autobiography of mine can help you gain insight about Mormons, and if you are LDS and you are having trials with it, I sincerely hope that this book will help you too. ** Formerly known as How To Be A Mormon: What It Is Like Growing Up Outside of the Church **
