James Bond had recently been assigned a quartermaster who went by the code name Q. He'd normally have preferred to work on his own but Q's seemingly harmless (but far from innocent) comments running constantly in his left ear made his job seem less isolating. Having murder as your job makes it easy to detach your emotions from your mind, but in the face of death on a daily basis James Bond realises his sarcastic, loveable quartermaster is the one he needed all along. DISCLAIMER: I don't own any of the characters involved in my story. I've not written a fanfic in a while so I might be a little rusty!
