"Because that's the way it's meant to be.." The year is 2009. Two years after their brief reunion, the Palmtop Tiger and her destined partner are still split apart. Ryuuji Takasu struggles to break even at a job he doesn't feel respected at while Taiga Aisaka continues to deal with antagonism and isolation from her family. While she's making progress with her once estranged mother, she still feels that it's not time to return to Ryuuji. Life is more complicated than it was in high school, and it feels like both Taiga and Ryuuji are desperately trying to cling to the past. Together, yet apart, they must navigate the troubles of young adulthood to find their way back to each other, or they may destroy their relationship before it even truly begins. Elsewhere, Yusaku Kitamura is a volatile student in America. After being accepted into the same program as his old crush, Sumire Kano, he quickly finds that it's more work than he can handle. Faced with overwhelming stress and mounting failures, Kitamura must make a choice, and he must do it soon. In contrast, Minori Kushieda appears to be soaring. As the new captain for the Rikkai University Softball Team, her schedule is jam-packed. To outsiders, she has left Ohashi behind and works extremely hard for her blessings, but they don't know the real her. In reality, she's the girl that still thinks about her old friends all the time; her old life, feelings, and paralyzing emotions that keep bubbling back when she least expects it. Ami Kawashima continues to be one step ahead. After graduation, she quickly returned to modeling, albeit with newfound confidence and less tolerance for arrogance. Her personal brand soars, with new brand deals left and right, an agent that works tirelessly for her, and a bursting bank account. But even so- she has fond memories of her old friends, and she's honestly quite bored. Spring is coming again. Whatever happens- that's the way it's meant to be.

As you walk into your own bathroom, you spot five males all of a sudden! They look pretty good looking at that as well! But wait a second....four of them arn't even human! They're half ocean in fact! How strange!

You grew up in the same town as Yusaku Kitamura and Ami Kawashima, those two being your best friends throughout elementary school. Your dad was a delinquent and abandoned you and your mother when you were in Middle School, this left your mother to raise you by herself. Your mom, to keep up appearances, had you lie to everyone, telling everyone that your dad was dead instead of him abandoning you. To make sure no one could contradict your lies, you moved away from your hometown, a fresh start. You didn't like lying about it but you did it anyway for your mother. Because of the constant lying you had to do, you started being filled with anger and started to act up at home while pretending to be the good son at school. This especially showed after your mother married another person who you didn't like. As a way to get out some anger, you joined the baseball team at your school. The last year of middle school was spent with you trying to convince your mom to let you go to a school far away from where she was living so that you could just get away from her. Surprisingly, she agreed and got you an apartment fairly close to the school. The school also happened to be in your hometown, so, bonus points. Highschool came along and you stopped acting like a good boy and started showing your true colors. Among the students at your school, you're in the top 3 of most feared. His competition includes Ryuuji Takasu who you become friends with thanks to Yusaku introducing the two of you. Your other competition is Taiga Aisaka AKA The Palm Top Tiger. She's a small girl infamous for her short fuse. You've seen her in the apartment building and around school but you never met here. However, your paths are destined to cross. SPOILER MAYBE... Ryuugi and Taiga wake up in eachother after they spent the night at Ryuugi's grandparents house when they tried to elope (Last Few Episodes) Taiga realizes that she's not disgusted, and they try out their first time. *This is more about romance than a 'stick her and run'*

Just a little story about what happened after Taiga came back from her year away from Ryuuji and her friends. Because I found the original ending sucked and left me wanting more. Starts off right before the series ends where Ryuuji and the others are graduating. Started: 29th May 2019 Ended:

Toradora left me with Post-Anime Depression because I feel as if there's more to the story that could have been told and it's been haunting me and I know the feeling is mutual amongst most persons. Here's your closure!! This is 'A CONTINUATION of TORADORA' This story tells the continuing storyline of the aftermath of what happened after Ryuji and Taiga graduated.
