Bring a blankie!
Yes, it was a cold evening for the first home game of the
Scotties’ softball season, but our girls didn’t disappoint the
fans in the stands (and all the vehicles with fans getting a bit
of comfort from the outdoor elements). Playing the Dawson
County Red Devils, the score was tied at 2-2, and then the
wheels fell off for the visiting team — the Glasgow bats got hot
and scorched the Red Devils with six runs for the 8-2 victory!
The horns were honking in appreciation. The Scotties will be
at the Great Falls Central Invitational this Friday, and it’s not
going to be any warmer, with the temperature forecast in the
low 40s. So if you’re making the trek, bring a blankie!

Letter to the Buzz
Wednesday’s Wisdom
Well. This is the new me, at least for a day. No
snarking.
I attended the Valley View town hall meeting
on Sunday. I was impressed with the presentation by
Wes Thompson of the workings in the facility and the
financial explanation.
What an eye opener! The daily cost per day per
residence is $410 ($12,300 per month). Medicaid pays
$283.82 ($8514.60 per month). If, hypothetically, a
resident gets $2000 a month from Social Security, that
money is turned over to Valley View, BUT, that amount
is subtracted from the Medicaid payment. Definitely a
loss. Valley View is a non-profit facility, so savings for a
rainy day is not available.
There is a house bill HB2 up for vote in the
legislature. It is a bill for Health and Human services.
The last line item is a Medicaid increase of 24%, which
includes federal matching, for nursing homes and
assisted living facilities. Care facilities across Montana
would benefit if the line item doesn’t get removed.
I would encourage you to research this bill and
contact our Glasgow representative Eric Albus (Eric.
Albus@[Link]) and convey that a vote to support this
bill is important to us. The Human service meetings can be
monitored on the Montana Government web site, Human
Service Committee meetings, Monday thru Friday.
We were assured that any employee that has a
license or certificate or if an employee wants to become
certified, there are programs available. The programs
are encouraged. Girls just want to have fun

Playing BINGO at Prairie Ridge, Georgia Barstad had a DOUBLE Black out…Don’t
see that happening very often. Now, did ya know? A game of chance named lotto
was being played in Italy by about 1530. In the 18th century, a home version (called
Tombola) was created in Naples with the addition of cards, tokens, and the calling
out of numbers. In the nineteenth century, a game like this was widely played in
Germany to teach children spelling, animal names, and the multiplication table. The
French game Le Lotto appeared in 1778, featuring 27 squares in a layout of three
rows and nine columns. Five squares in each row had numbers ranging from 1
through 90, which led to the modern design. In the early 1920s, Hugh J. Ward
created and standardized the game at carnivals in and around Pittsburgh and the
Western Pennsylvania area. He copyrighted it and published a rule book in 1933.
The game was further popularized by Edwin S. Lowe. While at a traveling carnival
near Atlanta in December 1929, the toy merchandiser saw people eagerly playing a
game called “Beano”, following Ward’s rules, with dried beans, a rubber stamp, and
cardboard sheets. Lowe took the game to New York, where friends liked playing it.
The Lowe-produced bingo game had two versions: a 12-card set for $1.00 and a

The origin of the name Bingo is unknown but may date to the mid-1920s. There are
claims that one of Lowe’s friends was so excited to have won that she yelled out
“Bingo” instead of “Beano”, or that the word echoes the sound of a bell.

Letter to the Buzz
Military Operation Underway
How many of you know the meaning of
this subject? I am one who believes that the
Presidential election in 2020 overwhelmingly gave
Donald J. Trump a massive number of winning
votes however, Biden was fraudulently declared
the winner. I believe that there is now accurate
documentation of the stealing of the election.
Therefore, there was then a four-year break to
expose much of the deep state lies and corruption!
A young veteran, Derek Johnson, has documented
much of the false Biden government mandates.
Even the signatures on pardons and bills passed are
fakes. You can go to Derek’s website RattleTrap1776
to see the truth for yourself !
President Trump is now keeping his pre-election
promises with his own staff answering to his Make
America Great moves. He has recently created
a Faith visitation area in the Whitehouse. He
strongly believes that the founding fathers of our
country were Christians!
Now we cannot believe how vicious and ugly
things have become with paid protesters that are
screaming and spewing vulgar language along with
burning and shooting the (Biden electric vehicles
Tesla) Innocemt car owners will lose their lives!
Some Democrats have become unhinged!
As I again refer to Christians, I do wonder
why churches refuse to speak out against all of
those who ignore the attacks on the true Bible
believers. Is your church only a “woke” church?
Does your church have transgender bishops? Does
your church believe God created two genders?
Does your church believe boys and girls should
share equally in sports? Does your church believe
marriage is between a man and a woman? Is your
church afraid to speak out against anything that
might be considered political?
I am so thankful that we live in a country where
we have the right to share our faith in God. Also, as
America stands with Israel and America strives to
be at peace with all! We are proud to be Americans!
President Trump will truly MAKE AMERICA
GODLY AGAIN!
